Is your product looking a little like this? Before jumping the gun and pouring it all out on your hand in excess, let's see how much you need according to your hair length!
If your hair is on the shorter side, we suggest sticking with a dollop of shampoo around the size of two Canadian quarters (as pictured above)! If your hair is on the medium to long side, we suggest starting with a dollop of shampoo around the size of two Canadian quarters, and then double lathering with another dollop of around the size of one Canadian quarter after you have rinsed your first round of shampoo! The more hair you have, the harder it is to get a good lather, which is why we all recommend lathering, rinsing and then repeating! Tip: focus on lathering your roots and scalp, as your hair rinses, the lengths ends will get clean on their own!
In terms of conditioner if your hair is on the shorter side, we recommend starting with a dollop around the size of 1-2 Canadian quarters (slightly smaller than pictured above)! Especially considering conditioner does not need to be applied to the roots of the hair, you can use it a little more sparingly. If your hair is on the medium to long side, we recommend using a dollop of around 2-4 Canadian quarter sizes, depending on the thickness and length of your hair! Rather than just slapping your conditioner on, rinsing and then calling it a day, we suggest gently massaging your conditioner into the lengths and ends of your hair, until it is evenly distributed among your strands.
